*Maybe I’m crazy but I think the movement/acceleration looks off here. It just doesn’t look like Sonic gains speed naturally, and super peel-out seemed to happen too quickly.* (EDIT: disproven in follow up replies! I’m just crazy!)
I also hate the excess of “speed tubes” that show the difference between Sonic’s speed and what the game wants you to think is speed.
I’m still cautiously optimistic, but I can’t help but feel like something is off.

Also the enemies looks similar to those of the first Sonic games.

Its interesting how since the second movie, Sonic kids’ merchandise is pretty much neck on neck with Mario. They’re pretty much the Scooby Doo/Looney Tunes of this and the previous generation.
