    For me, it’s the second best video game soundtrack of all time after Chrono Trigger. If this released on vinyl, I’d probably just roll over and die.

    I love every piece of work from her, literally a musical goddess, but I am mostly hyped for her Kingdom Hearts 4 soundtrack. That series gives her the most creative freedom possible and she uses that to put out legendary track after legendary track

    I was watching the trailer and the music sounded *so* damn good. I was hopeful that she was returning for the OST, but figured they at least got someone with just as much passion in them. The music *already* sounds so amazing. I can’t wait to play this.

    now have her return to Xenoblade as well, her work in the original is some of her best and the series has been badly missing her work among the rest of the game’s music as of late

    I’d forgotten she did the original, and the OST to that was amazing. My snotty older teenage sister came in to ask what I was playing because “the music is really awesome”, if that recommendation from 25 years ago means anything.

    I was hoping that what we heard in the preview wasn’t the finished music. It sounded way too glossy and light for the intense SMRPG soundtrack.
