I think it’s my duty to point out that there’s an almost 3-year gap between the first sygna suit rival (Blue) and the fifth (Silver), and that four of them were released in the past year.

One support I wasn’t able to include in SS Silver’s showcase video who works really well with him is Fall Caitlin as her trainer move has pretty much everything Silver needs in terms of buffs. Tech Lapras comes back here to change the weather and provide Speed debuffs.

In hindsight I could’ve probably gone with Classic Elesa as the statuser + debuffer, but SS Leaf’s toxic poison did help in clearing one of the sides. Regirock completed SS N’s Attack buffs and also gave a small boost to Freeze Shock with the master passive.

Had to use SS Blue and there’s a Rock-weak stage? Of course Triple Blue’s the way to go. Base Blue completes the trio to provide flinches as almost all of the damage here will have to come from CBlue’s sync.

Definitely the most annoying clear to get here, though that was mostly because I was trying out which supports would work well for this since Megahorn hits way too hard. Ended up with Glacia as she has a pretty distinct combination of being able to complete SS Hau’s buffs and having the bulk to tank enough hits, which is a wild sentence to read if this was a year ago lol.

I don’t remember the last time we had half-sync countdown as the forced parameter for the Champion battle but I hope this won’t become a trend lol. Since I also had the weather to worry about I ended up going with SS Kris to support the tried and tested SS Wally + Bede core.

8:50 interesting that healthy buffer 5 still reduces damage taken from multistrike moves even though glacia's hp was no longer full after the first hit from pin missile landed on her, since it acts differently from enduring effect and passives like mimikyu's disguise or eiscue's ice face that only block the first hit from multistrike moves and take damage from its subsequent hits
That SS N showcase was beautiful. I’ve never been a fan of his sync nuke because of his innate multiplier being hard to max, but I suppose when your attack stat is that high, you don’t need every multiplier to be maxed. Might finally candy him if July doesn’t seem too appealing 👀
