I was lucky 3 enough to get one in a balloon the second day of the event. Shit ivs though. I was out griding the stops at least 3 hours every day of the event and I only got the one. These are way to rare!
My friend and I checked a few thousand grunts and we got 17
i got a 3/12/15 shadow gible and i dont know if its worth powering for the Great League
I posted in the previous video about how I feel like this game is rigged in other areas than just pvp… The grunt battles and people not being able to find the gible because Niantic knows everyone wants it is another example. I went hard the last 3 days in grunt battles, playing for 5 hours Friday, 4 hours Saturday, and 6.5 hours Sunday. A total of 15.5 hours and found 3. So an average of 1 gible every 5 hours and 10 minutes of playing. And I was at a huge park that I would guess has around 50 stops. Sunday I even opened up my search to the downtown area, where I probably had access to another 50 stops. It's crazy to me that I could only find 3 with all of that in mind. Fortunately I had other things I was hunting too, which I got some good ones, so it wasn't a waste. But still annoying how rigged this game is all over the place.
My last 10 were one charmander, the rest all "get ready to be shocked" and thr grass ones -.-
Also second comment. Dragon grunts have definitely always been the rarest. The last 6 months ive gotten it like 4 maybe 5 times.
In downtown I found 4 in about one hour of rocket hunting

I have 5 shadow gible that I have found the one that was hard to find was pineco was the hard one to find for me I only found 1!

All event I found 3. I’m talking like 3-4 hours a day. I removed one frustration but hoping for a comm day

I kinda got lucky and got great iv gible on the last day but the fun part is I have 0 gible candies 😅

With the rarity of these, and the prevalence of absolutely crap IVs, not really worth hunting for them.
I found only one it was 14/8/13 completed 300 grunts 😢
I checked for an hour every morning and an hour each evening every day. I never found one.
Really bummed. But I did get a 100% shadow, and one shiny shadow geodude so I am not totally disappointed.
I found a 14-8-15 but after the event I don’t know if I should power it up or wait till another event or better iv’s but seeing the comments and I’m considering myself lucky ass hell to get this one

Ya I did like 300 + grunts and I only got 2 both have bad ivs but I’m just happy I got some. I got extremely lucky getting 2 100% shadows. 1- Entei and 2- Metagross.
I got one on my first rocket check, but it was my first dragon grunt in months lol, stupid rare
Todays battle: 0,5,2,2,1… decided to upgrade a shadow Charizard to Ultra League, got counter back and forth. Damn algorithm, keep decreasing to 1900, I hate this…
Found 3 out of 700. The best one was a 66%. The rate for finding these was ridiculous.
I hunted legit for 3 days then said screw it.
I started using my spoof account and the poke stop map to jump to every rocket stop for hoursss.
I found 1. Rushed to it with my main account and it dissappeared as i pulled up.
Tried again.. search on the spoofer for another hour. Found 1 and managed to get there in time with my main.
Used a map for the city i live in ( ~2mln ppl), could see all spawn's. Was max 4-5 in whole city, so the spawn was super rare.
I only got 1 but it was 2/0/1💀
I got mine the last minute of the rocket event with 7/12/12 ivs. Pretty happy
I found 1 shadow gible and forgot to remove frustration 💀😂 Rip
Started the event late and found NOTHING not a single land shark pokemon I'm normally a calm and collected person but I nearly lost my cool but oh well I even saved gible candy for 2 YEARS STRAIGHT for a shadow gible what a SHAME

Going to assume this is the same grunt that put out shadow dratini? I haven't gotten but 2 dratini. And I was mad cause their was a glitch where I didn't want to battle cliff and un attached my radar and i was at work all day I didn't get a baloon thanks to detaching my radar thanks niantic
I literally went to Cedar Point for 2 days in a row and not a single dragon grunt
I checked about 200-250 grunts and didnt find one…
I must've gotten extremely lucky since i got mine on the first ballon i tapped after the event started.

Spoofers are getting 5-6 hundo shadow gibles
I have 2 Shadow Garchomp now. 1st one took me 4 hours and it was a XXL 9 att. 10def. 15hp.. And the next day got another 2star balanced stat that took me 2 hours to find. But have named my XXL Mr.BEAST
