Of course not. They have purchased them yet!

  2. the hard hitting journalism we expect from cod fan twitter

I still think they are pushing it even having it on the switch.

  4. Kunikuzushi06

Well, they have 10 years to work on it lol

  5. deivid2525

Why would it began if they haven’t even acquired them?

  6. RicebinBernacky

Not surprising. Microsoft was tossing out deals left and right to look good to the regulators

  7. Tolkien-Minority

Thats because they probably pulled it out their ass on the spot just to please the regulators.

Stupid post. How could they when they do not yet own Activision? Anyone could have told you that.

This is a weird post. It’s like complaining that i haven’t talked to my future wife that i haven’t met if she wants kids.

If they own them why would they need to consult them? If they don’t own they why do they need to consult them? Non story

I know I’m going to sound negative, but this has always struck me as bullsh#t from Microsoft…

First they said that they would not keep Activision games away from Sony and Nintendo platforms, now they just say that they will not keep Call of Duty away from these platforms and never mention the company’s other games.

Then they said Call of Duty on Switch would run just as well as the other platforms, then they went back again and said the game would run the way you would expect it to run on Switch without being specific implying it might be a bad port like Ark and considering that the latest CODs struggle to run even on the PS4 and Xbox One which are far more powerful machines than the Switch I can’t imagine how they’re going to make that possible.

Honestly I’m against this purchase, not only because I believe Microsoft paid lip service to this but also because I don’t want to see Activision games ending up like RARE IPs or becoming exclusive like Bethesda games now, if the purchase is denied at the end everyone will win as Activision games will continue to be cross-platform.

  12. Work will certainly start when they receive the SDK of the new switch…and IF the purchase proceeds, I fail to understand the title here: Microsoft signed, not Activision.

Pre-purchase clearly Activision don’t want to release mobile games or a cloud version of their games on the console (we know how much cloud versions sell..)

Don’t worry, they’re just getting the game warmed up on the bench!

Non-news. Seems like more negativity harvesting. Who thought otherwise about these deals? What gamer but especially journalist out there thought that development had already started on these 10-year deals? Who?

I..wouldn’t expect them to considering MSoft hasn’t acquired ABK (yet)
