Did they increase shiny rates? I play gbl daily but I don't go hard catching pokemon daily. I usually get maybe 1 shiny in the wild per month outside of community days, but I have caught 6 shinies in the wild since squirtle CD.
I can't believe that they would throttle your opponents so hard with that pesky algorithm.
