The go plus plus upon release was able to auto-catch using Ultra and great balls but since Niantic has patched this so it only works with Pokeballs. This was not an intended feature but did they manipulate the public in their wording for the description of the go plus plus?

Poke AK blocked me for saying there’s no algorithm
I tried to pair my go plus+ to a different account and got a message that read : this pokemon go plus+ was associated with a different account in the past. The associated account could not be verified, so this pokemon go plus+ will need to be cleared of all sleep data before you continue. Yes pair or Cancel.
So I waited to pair to an alternate account
Dude, when this was first announced, I paid 100 bucks plus for bag space and ultra ball packages because I was going out of the country the month after its release. Big waste of money I really thought I could just enjoy my trip not having to constantly check my phone while walking but have to click constantly while exploring is so frustrating. I wait and spent to much for such a little return.
This misleading ad was why some of us pre-ordered it. Also so dumb you can't shut off the stupid vibrate and lights
See best way to do it, buy it get your first chance at the snorlax, return it. Then go buy one at a different retailer do the same thing then return and buy again until you get it =) rinse and repeat then just return the dumb thing lol

So I ran out of regular poke balls for auto catching, and I switched to great balls. The next catches were automatically being caught with my great balls! This all ended when the device timed out and I had to reconnect it by clicking on the cell screen. It then started only catching if I manually clicked.
makes you wonder if the fast catching trick is a feature or an exploit
You have to use the sleep feature same time each day. I found that out the hard way.

Right now my go plus plus is set to auto throw and spin pokestops but it sometimes requires me to click the button and sometimes it doesnt require me to click a button
I definitely knew it wasn't going to use great or ultra balls automatically before I purchased it. But I can see how some people could misunderstand. But if you went down on their web page it shows in their screenshots the menu for the plus+ and it shows manual balls you can pick which one you can use but not for auto throw.

I love I learned you dont really need to sleep right now. Just put it to sleep put it in your bed till morning or a soft place flat click it back on in the morning. I was at a grand opening last night not even home I put it to sleep in bed before leaving and then came home in the morning clicked it on for my rewards

it is stupidly complicated! It did not register my first night of sleep. I also notice if I "close my phone" the plus-plus doesn't catch anything!! I have to have my phone open, but even then it usually doesn't catch anything. I really wanted Snorlax, but this device just might have to go back!
I pre-ordered before the raid pass debacle. I was foolish enough to believe they were going to let us keep the ultra and great balls. Now my enthusiasm has diminished already and I wasn't playing much and now… Fortunately I haven't opened the box yet… back to GME for me. I hope you find a different game to hitch your Youtube career to @pokeak- your talents surpass the game you're playing by far.
