the gamecube had online??? i owned one! i still have it! i’m looking at it right now as i type this!

Save yourself 15 minutes. There were barely any games that utilized online, only 8 total, 5 outside Japan. There was literally no reason to get the adapter, if you even saw one in a store, which was rare, and was released a year after the system.
