Oh and the PvP algorithm? So real. Went 1-4 twice in a row, then 10-0 after that. Had a better team but the 1-4 games were all different teams encountering all counters for each one of those. And let's touch on the fact the pokeballs are being manipulated so they can make up their list revenue from changing remote raids. Anyone else notice that EVERY SINGLE F**KING POKÉMON takes 2-5 balls now? I call it the "3-ball-bullshit" because it doesn't matter what ball, berries, throw, or catch bonus you use, it takes 3 balls to catch them. Way more now than it used to. And now we also get ONE pokeball and ONE great ball from a stop. 2 pokeballs from gifts instead of 5. They've increased the Pokémon break out chance, deceased the number of balls we get from stops, gifts, and end-of-week distance walked bonus, and have been putting them in the store for 550 coins consistently the last few weeks. Someone please tell me I'm not alone in this
You can also put your kanto shinys into Lets go if you have that game. I had way too many shinys and mewtwos that I had to transfer to lets go.
Start date here may 2022.. I didn't get my first shiny til lvl like 22.. I got like maybe 10 deino shinys for that c day.. Dead on though about the they can do anything to anyone 1 persons acct.. I would also add the streamers under Niantics ass has a better shiny rate then reg ppl.
Couldn't you trade shinys with your son's account till they're gone instead of transferring?

I collect like a champ BUT I have been so lazy with this. I would get full after catching 100 shinies each community day and just buy more spaces. The longer I did this the worse sorting them would potentially be and it was coming…
Then at some point I hit that 6300 limit and it's been super tight trying to hold off and being lazy still.
So after Poliwags Day, I told myself THIS was the time where I'd finally do it…. And then they increased it by 500 spaces today and here I am again in the cycle lol.
Yeah I spend an absolute shitload of cash on this game, and people always down me for it, but to me its worth it because there isn't much in life that I enjoy anymore and PoGo is one of those that I do so I spend on it. But yeah laziness is a big part of it lol.

People commenting about just trading away shinies to an alt account or similar, yeah that doesn't really help. You only get a limited number of special trades, 2 for this season more for some special events but usually it's only 1 for most other times. If your someone who still plays daily the shinies and legendaries just start piling up. There's also limits to transferring to Pokemon home. How much energy you can use based on CP, shiny, legendary or mythical unless your willing to spend coins to get more energy you eat up your energy pretty quickly and have to wait for it to recharge. Sometimes you just go to purge especially CD pokemon cause honestly most people are going to have them anyway.
With the current season with an extra special trade I've been trading shinys away starting with the shitty shinys and slowly working my way to the better ones. They are taking up space and it's time to let go
instead of transferring the shinies, you can also give them away by sending them to the Pokemon Home and wondertrade.
PVP needs to be like the console games. Players have 6 teams in there squad and then pick the best 3 they think would beat the other person and try and predict who they might pick against them

Lmao I will say, I got 16 shiny Chespins on Comm Day… And during Larvitar CD I got 0 shinies, and my friend traded me one out of pity. So weird.

If the stardust cost for trading shinies wasn't such a rip off even at best buddies I'd do it a lot more often with my coworker.
In terms of odds they suck. Riolu egg day I could only hatch 25 eggs – which is my fault, I'm frustrated by how much worse they're making incubator bundles – and hatched 3 Staryu, a bunch of bad riolu, then a bad shiny two days later, while my coworker who plays less but spends more hatched a hundo on his 3rd egg. Adventure week I've lost count of the 7k eggs I've hatched but all but 2 have been bad Tirtouga, and even when I have multiple egg spaces in the main section about 1/4 of my friend gifts have given me eggs since the event started, down from over 9/10 before.
It's just the way it is. If we're honest, of course it's a cracked money mill we all put up with because it's being carried by the strongest franchise of all time. Every cent Niantic has now is owed to the pity and mercy of Nintendo.
I’m only Saving revives an potions right now cause go fest will cut how many potions you can receive to zero on the event so u can’t raid as much as u want. (They did on the primal raids and go fest last year)

Shiny transfer videos are so bittersweet. No one wants to do it, but any grinder knows it must be done. Lol. So yes, always satisfying. 😎 Thanks once again for the motivation Poké. 🤘 I've been enjoying shiny hunting in violet in different ways so it's like legit hacks putting my favorite shiny mons in a main series game that for some reason I actually enjoy playing. .😅
I tend to horde real bad. I'm always maxed out at 6300, so Im glad they increased the max to 6800. However during the adventure week I've been deleting so many shinies just to try and get the new ones during the event. I keep trying to hold onto stuff to trade, but I've realized that there is a good chance I'll never trade some of these things anyway. I gotta start getting rid of 93%/96%/98% Pokémon that I'm not going to evolve or power up as well. I was deleting Kabuto I had which were 96% because I needed the space. I still have a few 98%'s but I might get rid of those as well.
It does hurt to transfer shinys, period! even the community day ones. It's all the different event shinys that I grind for through all the events that are the hardest for me to transfer especially this fossil event. I've gotten 5 shiny aerodactyls that I don't need but looking back on them when going through storage just reminds me how much I do love the game and how much ive grinded and work hard to get each and everyone one of them. i think the majority of my pokemon storage is made up of raid hundos and gbl pokemon and complete shiny families

What about transfering legendaries?
