Happened with Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Runescape, and now Pokemon:
They start creating all these various forms of things; turning the characters/creatures into mechs or giga-chad forms of themselves.. and like.. you lose the essence of the game. The die-hard veterans can no longer recognize the game, and the new-age casuals drop off as a result of the next big game coming out, and you're left with nobody to enjoy the universe, and the franchise dwindles into obscurity.
Aye bro things to see in the main series game will eventually be in Pokémon Go. Well, eventually get the other gimmicks in Pokémon go.

They didn't skip galar they just haven't released all of it but that's the same as previous gens. We just got kekleon, we don't have mimikyu, Aegislash etc and we do have zacian perrserker and zarude

I can see them beginning to introduce some Paldea mons but they dont have to debut the starters when gen 8 starters are not even out yet??!! You're coming for the names when the entire Pokemon franchise has always had cringe names. These are more original that a combination of that pokemons animal design and what the type represents. Charmander= charcoal(fire) + salamander and Squirtle = squirt (self explanatory) + turtle.
the names fit the idea of paradox of past and present very well. Scarlets names are very much inspired by traditional tribal names that they would use, something dramatic like Roaring Moon or Great tusk. Same with Violet, Iron Jugulis and Iron Valiant are sick.
I hope TInkaton gets a good treatment in pogo. It has good defense/spdef and hp in the main series. and fairy/steel typing is so good.
Iron valiant would be more representative of asaaj ventress. The way she weilds her sabers
I think theyre saving gen 8/gigantamax as a continuation of mega evolution. Megas are an integral part of the game and once they run out of new ones something is going to have to take its place and gigantamax is the best candidate
