Let’s be honest. If the RDR port was a joke at $50, this is straight up highway robbery at $60.

  2. I was expecting this and I’m still disappointed.

Simple cash grab mehh, avoid this games, better use PS2 Emulation

  4. There’s no reason for 2 and 3 to not run at 60, this is incredibly disappointing

People complaining about framerate, those games were probably hardcoded for 30
Some older engines worked on a fixed framerate so doubling it up to 60 might break things or accelerate character speed, double the damage you deal/take…
Most prominent example was Dark Souls 1 who had to be remastered in order to properly implement 60FPS

This is a collection not a remaster

30 fps is fine. People are being spoiled kids. Unless this is a completely remake I don’t think 30 is bad. Lazy or not, they probably want to minimize their cost. And they don’t want to spend money and team on remaking the games in different engine and assets etc

If i remember correctly, the ps vita version ran better? 720p and 60fps at least for MGS3 i think…

Apparently it’s not final development build so fingers crossed there’s enough noise and they sort it out to be 60FPS… But don’t hold your breath! 😬

You could have seen this coming a mile away.

    I switched to MGS1 on SteamDeck <3

“if you were to blow it up to HD, it probably wouldn’t look great”

What kind of dumb shit comment is this? Ofc it’s not going to look good, hence why remasters exist. MGS would look incredible if it were remastered.

Between this and none of the games being on the physical cart, I feel better about opting for a PS5 copy.
