Purified my 13-13-15 no remorse at all lol, its slaps in ML and was cheap to power up + ready for whenever the mega drops B)
i dont really care about the ivs myself and most of he time i transfer the shadow pokemon anyway so wynaut purify them before to get the purification medal
edit: plus im not a big fan of those people who tell me how to play a game that can be played many different ways

I got ripped on a remote raid pass. The mon kept poofing after the first throw, and kept looping. Niantic said soory we don't see anything. They owe me 3 remote passes now. I'm really pissed.
it's pretty rare that I even lose to a shadow mewtwo in the master league when they face my hundo mewtwo. personally, if I were on a budget I would purify it since 360 XL candies is very expensive.

i'd say only purify when u have a dupe, a better one, or it's not meta relevant.
for example i only purified 3 pokemon a mega beedrill 13/14/13 because i had the same iv one twice. now i got a hundo and kept the other as shadow.
as second one 13/13/13 zard because i had a better shadow but not a hundo.
last one is sableye, for the move return. only him and wobbufet profit from purifying in great league because of the move.
for new trainers, don't purify. especially things like a beldum, bagon, gible, m2 or other rare high dps raid attackers.

I purified my metagross to make it a 100 iv because it is my favorite pokemon and my favorite mega and also I like pvp. And I can't raid that much because no one raids in my area.
My friend traded me a purified MewTwo and I got a lucky. It ended up being a 96% and the awesome thing is how cheap it is to power up being a lucky purified.
I just recently battled a rocket grunt a got 100% shadow glameow cp was 210 would of wish it to be a gible or larvitar. Or mewtwo but it is what it is I’ll take it it’s my first ever 100% shadow
I have a handful of 98% & 100% shadow Pokémon, I wouldn’t purify those because it would feel wasteful for me. If it’s a somewhat common or easy to get Pokémon with a mega and the IVs are 14/14/14 or 13/13/13; I might consider it.
I say do your research and do what’s best for you and what you need the Pokémon for in the game.
I never scoff at a purified Mewtwo. Preference is also about what you have available. 🤘
This is the dilemma I have now! I have a 93-96 shadow Latios. If I purify it it would be a 💯 but it would not do that 30% extra damage. On the other hand it has a mega.

I purified my charizard to get a hundo mega. The shadow charizard gets beat by Reshiram for raids so no point in keeping it.

I would purify anything that turns hundos as I collect hundos and if anything mega turns would turn hundreds bonus if.
I only do my daily balloons and I have a hundo psyduck 98 t-tar couple of other 98 meh pokemon

Never! Don’t touch the purify button. They do twice as much damage as normal Pokémon damage. An when it’s purified, you Lose that x2 damage towards your opponents Pokémon. So No!! No matter how good the shadow Pokémon is, do NOT purify. Just TM away Frustration during a Giovanni shadow event. Use those in-game tags to save. When a Giovanni event happens and allows you to get rid of Frustration, then you do that.
When I first started playing I didn’t know any better & I purified my Mewtwo but it turned into a 4⭐️ but I learned my lesson.

I have a purified 100 snorlax with return and I'm debating on what 2nd move should be paired with return.
I recently purified a 96% shiny shadow Mewtwo to make is a Shundo. The only reason I did this was because I also have a 98% shadow Mewtwo. I also have a few more shadow Mewtwo in the 90s. I wanted to have a Shundo ready for when Mega Mewtwo eventually arrives.
I think I have better shadows than the great Poke AK

Regular mewtwo has been around for years and will come back with mega raids, which we have to do in order to get mega energy. Shadow mewtwo, on the other hand, was available just for two days, immediately replaced for three months by the useless shadow articuno, so it’s likely that it will remain more exclusive. Purifying a shadow mewtwo makes no sense, unless you already have a full team of shadow mewtwo with very good stats, which is a difficult task. Lucky trades are a good way to get a strong and cheap mega mewtwo without ruining a good shadow mewtwo, which is almost as strong as the mega and doesn’t require mega energy

I've got a 93% Shadow Meetwo that would be a hundo if purified, but I'm going to wait until the mega comes out just in case i get a natural Hundo before that.

Here's when I purify one. When I have two similar iv shadow that would make a hundo. Did it with articuno, kept the better Iv shadow, purified the other to hundo.
Also if a pokemon is useless in pvp.
