Genuinely one of the greatest games available on Switch and in my opinion the best looking game on the Switch OLED own screen.
If I could selectively delete my memories I’d probably fry my brain deleting the memories of this game over and over again just to play it for the first time once again.

Game is amazing. Bought it not knowing much and it’s one of my favourites of all time.

I never thought I’d be into this genre but this was honestly one of my favorite games of all time.
ShiftyShaymin
Sublime game. Gorgeous, awesome characters, and checks all the Showa era Japan stuff I like.

I was hyped for this game from the very first announcement back when it was still going to have a PSVita version. When the game finally released it exceeded my hype and expectations and has easily become my favorite piece of science fiction media ever. I can’t wait to see what VanillaWare does next. I’m crossing my fingers for a sequel to Dragon’s Crown but will also take a port of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir.

What the hell is even that

To contrast the people in this thread saying they loved it…
I hated it. It felt like trudging through molasses, and I honestly started to loathe the pacing about halfway through. The gameplay is incredibly slow and boring, and the UI is cluttered with irrelevant information.
I would have stopped, but I felt obligated to see it through because I paid for it. It’s a 6/10 for me. Passable at best. Kind of pissed me off like Octopath Traveler.
This is coming from someone who has played quite a few JRPGs/VNs on Switch such as Final Fantasys, Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Ace Attorney, Doki Doki, etc.

Across all platforms?
Hm…

Happy to see it doing well!
I played about 10 hours and got distracted by TOTK. Anyone willing to give me a push to finish it? Does the story come together in a satisfying way at the end?

Hmmmm… maybe you should focus more on the Switch, Atlus.

I just finished the game, do yourself a favor and get this without any spoilers. The story is SO GOOD!

This was my game of the year 2022, I’m happy that it sold well! Never see anyone talking about it, imo the game deserves much more attention
WyrmHero1944
I have one copy but haven’t ever played it. Backlog hasn’t been low enough

I took a chance in this game and I’m very glad I did. If you are at all interested in unravelling a non-linear Sci-Fi mystery story, then this is the one.

One of the greatest games I can never recommend to anyone. Not because it’s not worth it, but because it requires so much of you that no one I know would be willing.

So, ummmm, can we have a port of Dragon’s Crown, please?

I bought persona 4 on hype when it 1st dropped & I am a fan of Altus for life regardless
Althalos
That makes me so happy for them, their only other game that reached the million milestone was Dragon’s Crown.
I’m so glad Word of Mouth ended up having such a good effect, talking about the game the first year it came out in the West felt like talking to air. I kept shilling as hard as I could though, now we’re here.

I love this game so much. I don’t even like anime (much less sci-fi anime) but the art and writing are truly exceptional. I hope with its success Kamitani makes more games like this.
AsterSky
This game’s soundtrack slaps beyond all reasonable doubt.
Windfade
First I’ve heard of it.

This game is a masterpiece love letter to the entire genre of science fiction. If you are a sci-fi lover, you will love this game.
NoSoulYesBiscuit
It’s one of the best VNs I’ve ever played. Great story, great cast, not too many *anime* clichés. They should definitely go for another game with a similar structure, even if it isn’t cyfy.

Not nearly as many as it deserves.
