Well, if it is relative in power to the PS4 and Xbox One, then it should be feasible. Honestly, that level of performance would be perfect for the next Switch iteration.

Since 2017 I splurged so much on the Switch when it comes to the games, accessories, and other Switch models. Fast forward to now, would probably do the same whenever the next gen comes out. Lol

Seems like an unlikely port given Switch 2 almost certainly won’t be able to support Rebirth without massive compromises.

I have no words about this, this game is really special to me, because it was thanks to this game that i fall in love and start playing Final Fantasy series, only missing VI and XV, and just the idea on seeing on the switch 2 is crazy i would just love that !
But of course i would also want a physical version, nothing cloud ( hold the jokes xDD) or digital only.

FF7R running smoothly isn’t a bold claim imo and I can see it happening since Switch 2 has been rumored to have PS4 level performance in the least and FF7R is a PS4 game. One thing I’m curious about is how they will handle the game size. All new AAA games can run on the new Switch, that’s great, but will they be able to fit the standard 100GB size on the cartridges?
And if the devs had already received a dev kit and it’s already ported to be a launch game, the console is coming way sooner than we think. If this leak’s real then I can expect an announcement after the holiday season with a summer release for the console. This goes well with how Nintendo has been saying they will reveal the console very close with the release this time.
Looks like they might make a small gimmick with the camera this time around. Curious to see it.

Doubt it. Specially with how Sony is. Ff7 R wa supposed to be a timed exclusive and it has not released on any other console since years ago

If it can play the first part and not the rest of the trilogy then this is worthless. But Im looking forward for next Mario game with amazing visuals!

I’m finding the camera more believable because the Switch does stick out of the dock enough for it to be usable while docked. Only issue is where you place the entire thing on your set up.
