How does Ys 9 and 10 run on the Switch?
I bought Ys 8 on a whim and it’s ended up being one of my favourite games of all time. But I do feel strongly that part of what I loved about it was its background as a portable game (even if it’s a Vita portable, which was very powerful). I don’t know if 9 or 10 lost that compact magic that translated so well to the Switch. Something about portable games that play so smoothly that you can’t put them down, whereas “console” games demand so much of your time for little return that they’re hard to decide to pick up.
