Lvl 48 and been waiting on a route to be approved over a month. No clue how these get approved. Very frustrating as I have none nearby.

I still have zero cells.. hopefully this will make it better there shouldn't have to be a "pause trick" to get them
I heard the 'pause, close and resume' trick is not working since the last Route update that happened one week ago.
Last times I tried it really not worked. If the cell doesn't apperar during the walking, it won't be appearing closing and reopening the app.
Should be automatic collect cells cause now you have to watch your screen all the time.
Which is against their own stay aware of your surroundings policy!
Probably they need user interaction to avoid exploitation…

There are still no routes where I am, so this event seems like a bit of a waste of time for most of us.
I have tried making routes, but none would finalise, so I couldn't submit them. I'm getting bored trying, so I've given up with whole route thing
Based on the shinys I’m not getting anymore (and the legendaries in GBL) I’m starting to have a suspicion that since I stopped giving niantic money there’s some sort of rng boost to whoever dishes them more money😂
Just got an elite fast tm for completing a new route
I feel like I've just been scammed from this event it asks you to follow a route there hasn't been a route around me since its launch even when I've ventured to the city and still no routes 😡😡
The two routes I usually do, stopped working this am after 10. Waited till 10, tried them, and both would start, I would walk about 200m, and the route path is not updating,
Quit, went back to start, same thing.
Yay, I can finally make routes. There are 0 anywhere near me. Now to have them authorized.
I did routes at the beach and it was a total pain in arse.
I found zero cells btw. And there were a ton of glitches. Just another annoying, broken gimmick
