Very impressive considering the hardware, reminds me a lot of the Vita port of Borderlands 2. Except this one looks to be hitting a mostly stable 30fps right out of the box, BL2 Vita needed an overclock.

It’s not bad. Graphically the switches near lod textures are the biggest difference, the kind you don’t need a side by side for. Par for the course. The lower poly didn’t stand out to me that much, mostly changed rock piles.
But God damn is the fov zoomed in on switch.

Impressive given the gulf in power difference. Sometimes I even prefer the way the Switch displays textures on the ground, as the PS5 ones sometimes look a bit washed out and flat.

Not bad if it runs at a stable frame rate. Borderlands is one of those games that doesn’t take a huge hit graphically on lowerend systems. The PS5 is obviously light years ahead but the style does lend itself well to lower graphic settings.

Considering the Switch is, well, the Switch, I think the port of this game looks phenomenal. Digestible size for SD cards too, at 9-18 GB (according to SwitchUp).

I’m gonna need to see something from the later parts of the game. Because devs love to optimize the beginning areas and then leave the rest of the game to rot in performance hell. If the entire game is like this then it’s definitely impressive.
