This is why I always bring a 200-400CP pokemon when throwing battles. Gets an easy win when the opponent also tries to lose, but still an easy win if the opponent wants to win.

This is truly epic. Just for the kick of it, I had to check out my magikarp. Taking it from 234 CP to 285 CP would cost 338,000 stardust, 118 candies, and 296 candy xls.
