First thing I did before I started a level was change the flowers to text only. After hearing them speak in the trailer there’s no way I could play the game with their voices playing over audio.

I really like the aesthetics of the game like the menus and stage cards and all that. It’s just so crisp and modern yet cozy, just wish I had a computer desktop theme made of it.

I steered clear of all SMW videos before I could get my hands on the game, and I’m so glad I did. As enjoyable as it was to hear this reviewer talk gleefully about Piranha Plants on Parade, not much could compare to the joyful feeling of experiencing it for myself first.
I’ve watched a few reviews in the past few days and this one in particular really captured the fun experience that a Mario game is all about. The familiar formula is still there, but there’s also so much more to offer without the game ever feeling bogged down. I smashed through a good 6-7 hours on the weekend and thought I might end up shelving the game once Spiderman 2 arrived on Monday. For the last few days though I’ve gravitated towards SMW when I’ve got 20 minutes to spare and just want to have a bit of fun.

Only thing I disagree with is the talking flowers. They were crackin me up through the whole game!
