    I don't think this is a sign of EOS, because if it was, they'd make a F2P option to obtain the sync pairs and they wouldn't limit you to dailies.

    I got ball guy🎉 on first single!!….there are lot of top tier units in this banner worth pulling,so if r not f2p, highly recommend this banner rather than any other ❤

    I’m sure a lot of people will disagree, especially considering the tone of the video, but i’m going to defend this banner.
    1. This is not a competitive game, and does not offer any serious multiplayer modes, so giving P2W players a large advantage does not affect F2P players much at all. This does not justify a paid only unit, which would make the game P2W, however…
    2. DeNA has clarified that Red and Venusaur, and every other Mix pair in the future, is NOT permanently exclusive to this banner and can be rerun on other banners, so i’m sure that the feedback will leave them to make it F2P obtainable in the future.

    Even as a whale, I am not ok with content (besides cosmetics) being locked behind P2W, nor am I ok with them being able to gain a competitive advantage off it that could harass F2P players. I mention those two points to show that they are NOT actively hurting f2P players with this update; it is purely a non-competitive advantage for P2W. If you are F2P you can continue playing as normally and very little to nothing will change, except the mysterious stone offers in the shop which is a boost to everyone.

    With that said, this banner is the dream of every player who has ever spent money on this game. There are 129 exclusive 5* units not including Red Venusaur. At 0.025% per that’s a collective 3.225% chance of pulling an exclusive, which becomes 5.225% with red. You get 9 pulls daily. If you do the math that’s roughly a 38% chance to pull an exclusive unit if you pull all 9 times. EVERY DAY. You can reasonably expect to pull 10+ exclusive units a month, and even cheaper spenders can frequently get exclusive units this way by just buying the Sync Orb Bundles which are far more affordable and generous offers than most other Gacha games are willing to give and will very likely net you 1-3 exclusive units over the course of the bundle. I understand that F2P players might be frustrated that they do not have access to this banner and think that they’re giving P2W too much, but I would flip that argument and say that P2W has actually had very few incentives prior to this. The bundles are good but bulk gem deals are notoriously very bad and most whales do not buy gems until Masters Day or Anni/Holiday/etc when we get the 14000 for $80 deal because essentially no other gems deals have been worth it. This finally gives a real tangible justification to spend on the game, while also keeping cheap and affordable options available to people who can’t afford to whale, while also not disrupting F2P players who choose not to spend. Could they have made a few things better? Yeah, they could have given us a normal banner for Red and Venusaur, and if you wanted to pull for him and are F2P i understand, but they can listen to that feedback and rerun him and/or make new mix pairs f2p available right away later on. Hating the banner itself isn’t fair though.

    Well, like this someday maybe the game will be playable only for the paid players then you will say, well its good thing if you can go past the paid wall otherwise horrible.
