It’s crazy to think this game has been around for almost half my life and that it’s just now coming to an end.
Despite most of the tracks not looking as good as base 8 tracks, this was an amazing DLC for the sheer amount of content we got.
Thanks for the memories Mario Kart 8, very much looking forward to 9.

There’s going to be at least ten years between console versions of Mario Kart when Mario Kart 9 finally drops for the Switch successor! Hopefully we get it next year as a release title!

Now if they can please make a new Mario Kart game for the next console, that would be great. I just can’t bring myself to buy Mario Kart 8 again, since I already had the Wii U game, even with all this DLC.

I get this DLC as part of Nintendo Online but have cancelled my subscription which runs out later this month. Will the maps stop working when I stop paying?

I could see Mario kart being a thing of the past and Nintendo Kart as a rebrand. They already feature several non Mario franchises might as well go all the way
