Our group all caught all of ours on either silver or regular pinaps, at most didn't catch one or 2 each
My first raid event and I felt the paid ticket was worth it. I ended up with 16 Garchomp and 2 shinies. I honestly don’t know how many rare XL candies I got. I grinded for them hard on Halloween and received zero. That left a really bad taste in my mouth.
I did a couple of raids 1 remote raid and 1 in person raid the encounter with the Garachomp from was shiny and the Garachomp from the in person raid wasn't shiny both were 2 star when I apprised them the 1 from the in person raid was weather boosted and both were hard to catch but in end I caught both of them and added a new best buddy pokemon to my list of best buddy pokemon and used my 2 star shiny for my mega Garachomp

Man, the Pokemon Go community is so spoiled lol. I can understand being upset with bugs, but XL candy are supposed to be rare.. That's the whole point. Even though we paid (I bought a ticket) doesn't mean you deserve or earned 30+ rare candy, I don't feel the description was of the ticket was misleading either, we know the drop rates are low to begin with.
It seems like much of the community just want to speedrun through every event, try slowing it down and having some fun. Try to remember why you got in to the game in the first place😃
I did 15 in person raids and 3 remote raids yesterday and not 1 shiny garchomp! I was with 5 other people and they were getting shinies! The one girl caught 3 shiny! I don't get it??
for some reason I thought Mega Chomper was only around for Saturday. It's actually here until November 16th. I drove around Sunday and did 6 more raids, total of 11 raids and got: 96% chomper, 2 XL rare candies, no shinies.
The thing that enraged me was the white screen of death. 😡 Tried to give myself a challenge and solo the raid but as soon as all my party fainted I just got the annoying white screen and had to restart the app. Can’t believe they haven’t fixed that yet!
It sounds like reviews are so mixed on this event. For example, out of everyone who did the max amount of raids, some got no shiny Garchomp, some got several. Like you, I got 5 or 6. With rare XL, same thing. Some ppl got very few, some ppl got plenty. I got like 15ish. Some raids none, some raids dropped like 1, 2, or 3. Ya know. I think whatever algorithm or RNG program they’re using could use some tweaking for dang sure.

Nooooo; that means that people that maintain more raid passes can't get their daily raid passes I guess.
I feel that might mess up the flow of some people's raid scedules.

For the 8 passes, xp and dust yes but not for the rare xl candy
About the catch rate. I caught all of them and only used silver pinap berries :X it was all good just take your time catching unless you’re driving around
Not worth it for me. He was in every gym for an hour and a half, after that he was hard to find👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
