The actual quote is “a game is only late until it ships, but it’s bad forever” which was not originally said by Miyamoto.
I remember seeing reports about this about a year ago.
“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is $60”
Honestly, who cares. We now have Gabe Newell saying “A delay is for a little bit, but suck is forever.”
