ima spill my mind here on this one . $8 for ONE ball ?! maybe if it came with a master ball prop in person or 10 raid passes but when you compare this paid research to go fest it’s such a bad ticket to buy. during go fest you can get up to 50 shinies , tons of xp , stardust , candies , etc . think the price is usually $15-$20 for all that content. but with this ticket you get 1 ball just to catch one of the galarian birds?? 😐 most players probably still have the first master ball. people will continue buying these researches which will just create more absurd ones in the future .
should have let us buy that Master Ball research… the few times I want to throw money at them and they actuall say no…
The party up tasks are annoying.
I don't think Masterball is worth it. Everything is going to be in raids eventually. They should release super rare mythicals in a wild or incense.

I did the timed research, finishing it within the first week of September. The reason is I wanted to get the second master ball so bad and use it to get my last galarian bird to which I did the week after. MISSION ACCOMPLISH!!!

The 60 raids timed task was the most frustrating thing I've ever done in-game. Everything else was pretty manageable. However this new research looks equally as frustrating, I'm glad I got it done in the first go-around (I was able to snag my final Galarian Bird) but I would have liked an option to buy it too, $8 for the Masterball is a reasonable price.
Looks like 100,000 XP, 3,000 stardust, and a single item (the master ball) for $8. I feel like if you buy that, you're telling Niantic the master ball is worth $8 on it's own despite any hoops you need to jump through. I know some people will defend the XP, but I don't have a single pokemon past level 40 and can still two-man many legendaries. Pretty sure I can power up any pokemon to level 50 despite being only level 43 (the game seems to indicate it), so what does being trainer level 50 really get me? I'm already swimming in items, doubt there's anything really worth it in the level up "rewards."
I imagine if people are willing to spend $8 to jump through hoops for a master ball, they might be willing to pay $20 to get a single ball from the shop straight in to their bag. I mean AK already bought pokeballs, how much do you think he'd have to spend to catch the 300 pokemon page 1 requires? Think other people aren't also going to spend a little more money?
It's possible this has been brainstormed already, but I wonder if this "Party Play" event and research that Niantic is doing, is a way for them to track down and cancel spoofers who will try to complete the party play research while spoofing. /shrug
