If it makes you feel any better, during the Zorua/Gengar event over halloween, I woke up tired and had to rush to go somewhere. I forgot I put my shiny Gengar as my buddy and found a wild Shiny Gengar but had no balls while I was being driven around. Spent 100 coins to catch a Zorua. I didn’t play for the rest of the day out of shame
