Just get Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2. It plays a hell of a lot better than this.

It’s wild this is made in 2023.
With that said, graphics often mean very little. It’s more about the tech and how well it runs. So if it runs well, plays smoothly, and is fun, then job well done.
But it’s still wild to see something that looks this dated lol

At least put some cel shading on your polygons if you’re gonna make a game in 2023 that looks worse than the Xbox 360 Skate games. Edit: it appears to be a port of a mobile game?

I feel like the people commenting about how shitty it looks don’t get it? Yeah it’s not great looking but the tricks look smooth and the gameplay looks fun. Nothing ported down to the switch ever looks great. What’s important with a game like this is frame rate and that doesn’t look too bad. Having a skating sim with very large, dense sandbox areas to skate in is rad as hell.

I’ve put a lot of hours into the game on PC. As long as it runs at 60fps like it says, I’d reccomend it, but only if you’re actually into skating. It’s the most “realistic” skating game I’ve personally played. It’s lacking in levels and there’s no career mode to speak of, but the gameplay is very solid. I like crusing around while listening to music or podcasts.

Oh goodness, I love skateboarding games but this looks rough. I know graphics don’t matter as much as gameplay but they still matter a little. Saying “Captured on Nintendo Switch” implies they were proud to show this off as an in-game engine capture but this looks like a tech demo.
