I know not many people care about Fortnite on the Switch these days, but since the Switch is my only current console I found this really interesting.
Chapter 4 on Switch had several problems, but now Chapter 5 not only improved the frame-rate but also considerably improved the game’s visuals on Switch, even better than on PC Low (and in some points such as draw-distance and quality of shadows even better than on PC-Medium )

I don’t know if many people care about this, but I’m really happy to see Epic trying to make the most of the Nintendo Switch hardware even though the console is already 7 years old on the market.

Lots of people probably care. It’s a popular game on a popular system lol.
With that being said, yes. The visusl improvements are great. Chapter 5 is very fun for me on Switch.
I usually play Fortnite on my PS5 these days, but it seems like chapter 5 gave a decent enough visual boost that I am gonna redownload it on Switch, especially as I tend to do better with the Switch pro controller then the dual sense.
I decided to download it again on the Switch, mainly just so I could play the LEGO mode away from the TV, but this is good to hear.
I’m considering playing mainly on switch now because on my Steam Deck I need windows
Fortnite switch players make a HUGE percentage of the total Fortnite player base. It’s not surprising how much effort epic puts into the SSI ch version.
My son and girlfriend and I all play on Switch and we are all happy about the noticeable improvements.
