  1. Everyone that says no algorithm send screenshots to Poke so we can see you have your 70-80% win rate

  2. How does it match my pokemon for raids based on the move of the mon im raiding, but it doesn’t do the same thing in GBL?

  3. I remember when I started playing clash royale. After around 3 battles, I could consistently predict 6/8 cards on my next opponent's deck. The algorithm got better and now it's hard to get an accurate prediction, but there's still one. Every pvp game (involving any advantage-disadvantage relationship) has one, is no secret. Is like believing that phones don't listen to us after getting an advert about something you were just talking about. Some people are in disbelief, others are like: "this is so f up, can u believe it?" IT students already know how it goes and simply don't get into the conversation, because they know for sure. It's meant to ensure the game is balanced and can survive. After the game grows, it's meant to prevent the real meta of the game to take over. This is specially important for pokemon because "you gotta win with your favourites". They need to allow variety. This is being put into question because the main users are kids, who believe that skill is all that matters, however, this is not true for almost anything in society because people tend to be extremely insisting on inclusion, but all of us like having dreams of superiority.

  4. They need to do one of the following.
A: Match us up before picking our teams.
B: Pick your team but not the order (choose your lead at the start of the battle.)
C: Let us unlock a second fast move for better coverage and mixing up opponents counting. This is the one I think they should go with.

  5. This happens to me as soon as I reach Rank 20. I cannot advance beyond it because I keep getting hard-countered. The fact that people can't see this is just wild to me.

  6. You literally have the same wins to battles as homeslice Henry right now😂 so tell me ain’t no algorithm, he’s top 20 in world but same numbers overall, don’t matter where you are on leaderboards or whatever, numbers all come out to same shit

  7. So there’s definitely algorithms to keep you around 50% but every game company/game does that. Ever since his “Heisenberg” team stopped working he hasnt hit legend and so is consumed with using these weird excuses like his account being on “hardmode” or cheaters being everywhere to explain away the fact that he hasnt been good enough to hit legend. Just know that if you put in the work you can hit legend. I hit it and im not great at battling. Dont let his wild excuses convince you that you also cant do it. You can.

  8. It's relatively easy to prove that there is an algorithm but it cannot be done with only one account: you need at least two accounts, with two different teams, A and B, as opposite as possible, with similar ELO. You do as much battles as you can with both, and note every team you encounter, using for example gobattlelog. If there is an algorithm, A and B will encounter different metas. For statistical significance, a lot of accounts should be involved, and split in two groups A and B running team A and team B.

Also, it's interesting to watch Dan Ottawa's videos and yours, just hours apart.

  9. I asked @DanOttawa this question on his ama if there is an algorithm. He answered my question with a video it sounds like you are referring to. He showed a graph and mentioned his economics undergrad. He said you have a confirmation bias and not enough skill to make it to legend if you think the algorithm is holding you back

  10. There definitely an algorithm esp when you are leading 5/5 and somehow miraculously they have every counter of the pokemon your using no matter if its legendary or not they still counter it if you fairy out of nowheres steel type. Then when your beating then some how lags out of nowhere and then they are hitting you but you can't even switch or nothing your literally stuck there while they continuously use there fast moves and save up tons of energy Soo when you bring your next pokemon they have full charged moves and you stuck with using all your blocks and still throwing charge moves. I even think those matches you get when the person is literally just standing there letting you beat them or you go against someone is using 10cp pokemon which is definitely a bot because how am I rank 20 going against a rank 1?

  11. literally every game with an online battle mode has matchmaking. every game. there's a list of recommended pokemon which basically no players will ever deviate from(thanks to youtube). its simply public matchmaking, like niantic said years ago. plenty of people are also posting videos of their gameplay and run into zero counters for all their sets. where is the algorithm then? so they're only enabling it specifically to target only certain people? no one on youtube would be climbing if that was the case. that's alex jones level theories lmao..the odds of encountering these teams and same mons repeatedly are MUCH higher than an actual person coding such precise algorithms in a game where we can obviously see their coders are not that good. lol this is starting to remind me of cod streamers raging at lobbies that dont have all bots

  12. I love the comment "we dont have any algorithms based off pokemon" so your telling me there is one based off the moves lol. Niatanic just choked on that statement lololol 😂

  13. i don't know what you are showing now but my game has stopped often yesterday actually i closed the game 6 times before i saw if i lost and before my shadow mewtwo had to use the same psystrike 4 times in rows out that it hit the opponent this is not fun anymore niantic

  14. Please ak make videos like this with youre face . No homo but I love seeing people reaction especially with the ALGORITHM!!! ❤️‍🔥🫡🫡🔥 love

  15. I have had several days where I would feel that I was the hard counter placement for other players. The first two of my Pokémon would surely lose, but I wouldn’t drop any shields. My closer would come in and finish off their lead and then completely decimate their last two with nearly zero resistance. It almost didn’t seem fair.

  16. Every game in a set I played today had a Mamoswine from opponents, and my entire team was weak to ice smh

  17. Can somebody explain to me how it's possible for EVERYONE to have a win rate in the 50s? I just calculated mine all time and it's 51%. This season so far it's 53%. Last season was 51%.

Just speaking strictly numbers and probability, how's could it be possible that most players are at a similar win rate but all have varying skill levels? You should see the great players with north of 70% and the terrible ones as low as 30%. Especially in a supposed double blind format. Numerically speaking, that is impossible to accomplish without a formula working behind the scenes.

It's literally an algorithm that keeps assigning you battles that keep you slightly above average. There is no other explanation.

  18. Did Niantic fix that cheat where people can see another trainer's third 'mon? ChatoelPitbull blind-swapped into a Zekrom and I cannot help but wonder.

  19. Not even some of the best players in the world have over 60% win rate, they're hitting legend because they have a slightly higher net ELO gain than other players (also because they play more)

Algorithm or not, it's just a mobile game. Chill out 😂
