Recently Niantic has dropped a few hints about improving raid playability in Pokémon GO, especially for rural players. Wasting raid passes on empty lobbies has been one of the biggest complaints, along with not being able to coordinate raid groups in game. Hopefully soon both of those issues will be addressed and raids will be fun for everyone in Pokémon GO.
