I just attended the LA event. The servers were smooth as butter. Zero issues. Raids were in 10 min timers. And they got full quick. Parking was free. I did attend day 1 Vegas. This was a big difference. The only thing that was different. This event was just raid event. Spawns were so so. Shiny was low. It was all about raiding. Poke. Maybe attend next time. Be open to it. It was nice to see you in Vegas.
Are the costume Pikachus locked to specific genders in the Los Angeles event or not? At one event in the past, each costume Pikachu was available for each gender but was locked to specific genders during the global version of the event.

I had a lot of fun today. Lots of shines. No issues on my end. Considering Pasadena is only 30 mins away it was well worth it.
I got kicked from 2 latias remotes mid battle and on the verge of beating it. No response from niantic for either message.
To be fair I've only lost 3 remotes like this and niantic did refund me a pass for me

Niantic only treats there content creators and promoters and people who are rich that can fully across the world to attend these events but I go for shiny rates not raids I heard the shiny rates where terrible and everytime I asked one of you content creators y'all blatantly ignored me. Usually they do a ticket for shiny boosted but of course not so that means the global is going to be 10x worse than in person they always get everything but of course I feel like of your already participated in this event like all you have that went should not be allowed to do the global sense y'all already got early access shiny boosts and everything else how is it fair they can do the global event also and still get researches and what not. Niantic only gives a shit about players who can fly across the world to different states and it's not even all that to travel that much for a game that doesn't act right bugs or glitches they didn't want people to remote raid incase they fucked up and released the shiny early that's why it was all b.s you would think a event like this there wouldn't be a raid limit and what not but leave to niantic. I forgot that benefits the global community not just the in person community and if you played this game long you'll know the difference between the two communities.

I don't have too many friends but I received 6 remote raids invites for origin palkia & dialga with no issues. It sucks that this happened though. Also, i live in LA and idk what you talking about lots ppl in LA sucker punching you.
Kicked me out after my six pokemon fainted
I received one raid invite for Origin Palkia. It worked fine snd when I caught it didnt have the special move and trash IVs
At this point, it has to be self-sabotage, right??
No issues on my end I’m in the UK and I got invited a origin dialga and I got In fine
I did 5 remote raids to LA yesterday & 4 today without an issue, my last remote raid crashed/froze with the raid boss in the red at 150seconds, but the timer kept counting down so I lost my palkia origin encounter (boss wasn't attacking, nor was I able to)… Sent a bug report as per usual expecting to get my remote pass back, only to have a stupid bot tell me I got the reward or was already compensated for the raid… Umm nope, I did not! 🤨🤦♀
I've had to resubmit pointing out I have had no encounter & please refund the remote pass.
At the price they are charging per pass I want & expect my encounter after the dang raid, that is the whole blasted point of doing remote raids- to get an encounter with whatever you are raiding… I don't give 2 tosses about a couple of stupid TM's & potions that I end up deleting, I want my encounter 🤑🥺 😤💩
1K to do the weekend of Sinnoh tour?! That is cheap compared to what we would have to pay- cheapest flights to LA from the closest international airport (3hours away) are all around $1000 per person alone, double that if we want to fly the 12hours in some level of comfort 😬 It's the reason we'll probably never get to go to an in person event tbh 😔

This why I spoof go to Brazil get 100 dollar pack from the web store for 38 dollar and I stack uo 3 bundles of 15500 coin for 120
Parking wasn' t Niantic's fault. I paid for parking, but nobody checked tickets. Game play in the park was almost flawless, although I did have to restart the game once because I wasn't seeing spawns. City play was IMHO better than the event itself. But I actually think Niantic did a pretty good job–other than the remote invite problem of course.

The Raids were Geo Locked
I would expect that major cities parking is going to be $30 to $50 a day. Keep that in mind for next event.
I did an origin form dialga raid through a remote raid & after defeating it, there was a piplup instead of a dialga… it took my remote raid pass & I didn’t even get a chance to throw a ball at dialga. Did this happen to anyone else? Also every raid I was invited to had less than 5 mins left for some reason?
They broke this feature on purpose so if you are not at the tour you need to play and raid a lot for the global. It makes even more sense since all the pokemon caught had the special moves.
