GPU FLOPS of next console

So the Switch’s GPU is only able to reach half a trillion FLOPS (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLOPS) when docked, and about 80% of that when undocked and thus unable to harness as much electrical power. For comparison, even the original Xbox One and PS4 squarely outperformed the Switch, despite being three years older, both squarely beating 1 teraFLOPS (a trillion).

That’s not to mention their mid-generation hardware upgrades (both of which released within a one year period before or after the Switch), the PS4 Pro and One X, which respectively reach about 4 and 6 teraFLOPS. While the Series S only gets 4 teraFLOPS, the Series X and PS5 both beat 10 teraFLOPS.

So what range will the next console’s GPU FLOPS be in? At minimum, it’ll be in the 1 TFLOPS ballpark comparable to the original One and PS4; while I can see it maybe being around 5 TFLOPS, I highly doubt it’ll venture near the frontier of 10 TFLOPS that the PS5 and Series X conquered.
