The usb dongle that I had to plug into my computer to connect my DS to the internet to trade Pokémon

I enjoyed the gameboy games that had the additional bit at the top of the cartridge that made it rumble

The guitar hero accessory for DS that plugged into the gameboy slot. I can still feel the carpal tunnel

  4. What even is that thing? I tried googling Nintendo DS Wii accessory and got nothing on it.

Do you guys remember Boktai, the GBA game where the cartridge had an embedded solar panel and you had to be in the sun to do some stuff?

That’s gotta be the DS diabetes glucose reader. It was an accessory for a game that was made for kids with Type 1 diabetes

I’m still bummed that the health-tracking device that got announced a decade ago never came out.

There are quite a few ds accessories.

    A magnetic stand
A camera that slides in the gba port
A few different types of stylusses
A GPS tracker so you can map the stars

    And some more

    All official releases.

Remember that dongle that was gonna measure your pulse through your finger?

  10. I fondly remember having to sit close to my TV so that my cousins could hear me over the Wii chat mic when we played Monster Hunter. That was the good ole days.

Looked it up before pressing Post, apparently it was called Wii Speak, which is great.

What’s this?! Does it still work/where can I get one? I’m unable to use my current wifi for custom DS servers

  12. I still have the USB WiFi adapter somewhere 🤔

NES had a modem to let people play the lottery from their house.

Gameboy had a camera and printer.

SNES had a mouse for Mario paint. And an adapter to play gameboy games.

N64 had some rumble packs and expansion packs and that failed disk drive.

I remember importing component cables from Japan for my GameCube. And getting a LAN adapter for it. I never got it, but the cube had a keyboard in middle of a controller, and those DK bongo drums.

IIRC, the Game Boy Micro had a special link cable adapter so it could connect to other game boy advance systems.

I picked up a Micro several years ago, but wasn’t able to find an adapter for a reasonable price. Looks like there’s one in eBay for like $100.

The wii fishing rod remote. My dad got it with rapala fishing frenzy.
