Tombmau were once guardians of royalty in the past and now live on possessioning an artifact in their likeness. Parts of their ghostly form break from the stones and any unwanted touching on these spots will induce fear even in Gyarados. (Based on a tiny Sphinx)
And Bastone have broken free from their stony bodies and now control the stones to attack and defend. It’s stated that Bastone will defend those it deems worthy of royalty even beyond the defendee’s passing. (Based on the Egyptian God Bastet)
