Regional form of Combee and Vespiquen, plus two new evolutions: Comblitz and Comgrill. All of them are based on the Japanese honey bee. The Fire type is a reference to how these bees can kill giant hornets with heat. They form a ball around the hornet with their own bodies and start buzzing until it’s cooked alive.
Comblitz is also based on bouncers and football players for how they defend the hive.
Comgrill is also a barbecue dad as a pun between the ‘hibachi’ (火鉢) barbecue and ‘hibachi’ (火蜂, ‘fire bee’ in Japanese).
