Oh, that’s what it was. Interesting.

LMAOOOO Nintendo, you fucking troll. Well played.

I saw someone saying it might be a new Famicom Detective Club, they nailed.

  3. Moon_Dark_Wolf

As someone who’s never played a famicom dectective game. Nintendo sure made me actually want to try it out lol.

  4. So, never played a game in this series. Is it worth checking them out?

  5. HowToGetName

Didn’t think it’d be a new Famicom Detective Club game but I’m so happy it is. I enjoyed the remakes, will definitely buy this game day one (which I rarely do).

I’m glad Emio didn’t turn out to be a new console. I don’t think I could sleep with it in my room.

There was a guy who made a post on here saying that the “graphics in the teaser were too good to be on the Switch”. I wonder how he’s feeling now.

That sound you hear is the parade of everyone who got hyped for that teaser trailer last week walking away from this announcement.

Yoo I’ve never played one of these games but I want to now!

I never played a Famicom Detective Club game but the smiling man and the Sakamoto words hyped me

  11. Hoping for an English language physical release for this and the previous two

IT’S NOT A BLOOBER TEAM GAME!!!! WOO!!!!!!!

😲 that picture of the dead girl with the bag over her head.

Glad Nintendo let them go that dark.

Huh. Surprised more people didn’t get what this was because everyone was so confused and convinced that it was a brand new IP. I guess obscure series revivals are nice though.

Really dumb that I can’t watch video here because of age-restricted and I can’t click to watch on YouTube.

  16. Designer-Draw

I was wondering if it was related to Famicom Detective Club. Hopefully the previous two entries can be released physically in English.

  17. Hoooooooly shit.

Famicom Detective Club is one of my favorite Nintendo series. The fact that they’re making a new entry is insane to me. I am so happy.

I really hope they find ways to get new players into the series; it’s so good and so many people didn’t care because the games never went on sale.

Really happy to see Nintendo continue this IP; I’m going to assume that the remakes a few years ago did well. I don’t know how much Western audiences like the combination of Visual Novel/Point-and-Click Adventure that these games offer. I think a lot of people were probably hoping for a Silent Hill/Resident Evil type game from the initial trailer? I do hope they modernize the gameplay a bit, though. The remakes were great but did show their age.

Lmao of course it was Famicom Detective Club

If you gave me 1000 guesses as to what Emio was I never would’ve even thought of Famicom Detective Club.

  21. Okay I’ll eat my crow, I was legit worried Emio was the thing Nintendo’s been talking to Bloober Team about.

This however I am very interested in, I’ve never played an FDC game but I do love murdee mysteries and visual novels have really grown on me the last few years.

  22. A bit disappointed it’s not a new horror IP, but franchise revivals are always nice to see, and the concept is pretty interesting. Definitely gonna be picking it up.

I personally do not like point and click games but happy for those who do
