For those who may be on the fence, I’ll say it right out the bat. The first game is mid, but worth playing because the second game is DEBESTE of all Ace Attorney games, the story will blow your mind. And just the second game is worth the price.

It’s funny that when Nintendo finally dropped region locking, other companies stopped being stingy with localization.
We almost didn’t even get Fire Emblem Awakening. The SMT4 Europe debacle. The Wii/DS and 3DS were nightmare eras for localization.

I played the Fan Translation of Investigations 2 (I’ll need to replay it to get used to all the official names of the characters). I’m still debating myself it is the best game of the series over The Great Ace Attorney 2. That’s how good it is.
Glad that it will be available to officially buy. All these years of me pestering Capcom in all the polls and surveys they did finally paid off LOL.

Already played the fan translation of 2 a few years ago, so don’t really feel like buying this now
Ace Attorney games are not usually good for replays, at least not until a long time has passed and the details have been forgotten
But it’s nice for people who for whatever reason couldn’t play the fan translation, because it’s a very good game

All we need is professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright. But then, that was a Layton game with PW and not the other way around. So that would fit best as a title in a Layton collection, which I hope happens someday.
