They held out so long before delivering on the tiny horse from the thumbnail, it was torture.

There’s entire different biomes, nice!

They’re bringing back horse travel? Nice! Hasn’t been in a 2D game since FSA.

Okay, this looks REALLY good. This trailer had it go from “very interested” to “Day 1 must buy” in my mind instantly.

On one hand I am very excited to see how this game turns out, with a 2d take on Breath and Tears’s “combine stuff and explore” approach.
On the other hand, I do kind of hope we get a “traditional” Zelda again eventually, as opposed to the series just always being BotW style from now on.

Man this looks really good, I’m hoping we can play as link in certain areas though!

God, this game looks like a dream. It seems like the world isn’t full of item gates and instead allows you to creatively explore it and solve puzzles and combat situations in tons of different ways. And the movement looks so fast, especially thanks to the horse. The replayvalue of this game is going to be insane.

Have I been saying Kakariko wrong for a long time?

I’m hoping there are even more abilities. Echoes and bind are interesting, but I really wish we could just attack enemies in more straightforward ways.
I really hope the rift world is interesting

Is that Epona???

The map at 2:30 essentially shows that this will be a “blown out” version of the ALTTP map, and I’m here for it! You can see Lake Hylia, the building with the flood gate, an island where the Waterfall of Wishing was/is, and the southwestern desert area which will probably now be Gerudo Desert. So hyped!

I just hope there’s dungeons. Everything else looks pretty baller
ehsteve23
I was really expecting them to rebrand River Zora and Sea Zora, since Sea Zora are almost always found in rivers, only twice in the sea and neither time in Hyrule
shojobot
This looks so cute, and I’m going to need a line of amiibo announced asap.
DarkAres02
I feel like the dungeons will make it break this for me. Happy with unique abilities and what looks like normal linear story instead of collecting memories, but I don’t want it to go full “creativity sandbox” like TOTK. I want it to still have the vibe and profression of a 2D Zelda

instant pre-order for me. yes I know most will say no to pre-orders but this will be my 1st Zelda game to pre-order. Haven’t finished BOTW yet. haha
Siendra
Reverse bond is pretty neat. I hope they cook up some devilish puzzles with that.
Swerdman55
This has a lot of good information in it that we didn’t know yet. Bind/Reverse Bind really solidify this as 2D TotK and it looks fantastic.
rexfloyd94
Looking good. Lemme see some bosses though baby I gotta know/hope they’re 2D game quality.

I just finished Links Awakening remake for the first time yesterday. I’m somewhat hyped for this one.

aww it looks so cute

Echoes and bind look like they’re going to be too powerful and allow you to coast over lots of the puzzles without really solving them
Niekname2174
Odd, they put the snowy mountain section prominently on the promo art but it doesn’t appear to be a traversible area. Which is a shame since a snow biome would be a nice addition to the current list.

Went from disinterest to interest. Hopefully there is progression and well thought out longform dungeons. More ALBW instead of BOTW please.

This thing better be backwards compatible at a higher frame rate on Switch 2..

Anyone willing to bet there’s going to be a “Dark World” where we control Link and which plays out like a more traditional Zelda title? Obviously we see Link falling into one of the fissures in the reveal trailer, and this one ends hinting at some sort of secret mechanic or content once Zelda hops into the fissure. I dunno, it makes sense to me that we’d spend half the game doing all this wacky sandbox stuff with a character who can’t even fight, and half the game doing more classic Zelda stuff with a character with a sword and all the classic items.

It was really cute when Zelda summoned the bed at the oasis and the Gerudo soldier turned with her eyes bugged out lol
