Now we have TWO opportunities to be disappointed when Silksong doesn’t appear in either Direct!!
This feels like they wanted to do a full normal direct but they didn’t have enough brand new first party announcements to justify it, which makes sense if they being saved for the switch 2

I can’t recall this ever happening before? Seems kind of compressed. They could have easily done the Indie one a few days before or after the partner one, we’ve seen them do that before. But back-to-back on the same day? It’s interesting because it’s different and I’m not sure what it means. Almost like they are trying to get everything new out of the way at once.

i am happy with current games, be it zelda, mario party, mario & luigi and those two third party game until the next switch.
Frankly lol I just want to see the next hardware, rarely been that hyped for a console reveal but the Switch 1 is an absolutely amazing console and thoroughly enjoyed it since 2017
at this point the only things i really want from this partner showcase are ports of older sonic games (adventure 1+2, shadow, unleashed), jet set radio and jsrf ports, gta iv port. like i dont really want to see any more new 3rd party reveals for switch 1 because id rather see new 3rd party games on switch 2 hardware

Partner Showcases have been very good lately. The February one had Grounded, Unicorn Overload, Monster Hunter Stories, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, Suika Game and more Rare games coming to NSO.
I predict the next one will probably feature more Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake footage, a release date for Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection and maybe more Third Party NSO announcements (Conker’s Bad Fur Day please!!!)

I am once again asking the universe for a Xenogears HD-2D remaster. If not that, then a port of Xenoblade Chronicles X or the Xenosaga Trilogy would have me just as hyped.
My prediction is that every third party game ever made will now be available on switch but they still can’t port Wind Waker or Twilight Princess HD and when they do it will only be available for 20 mins a la Mario 3D Allstars
I wish there will be some kind of new fire emblem announcement but since there won’t be I will still watch it anyways if I’m awake

I honestly have 0 expectations. TOTK came out last year and was fantastic, we finally got a look at MP4 – Honestly I can only hope we’ll eventually get a new F-zero or Kid icarus at some point, but but beyond that, for once I have nothing in particular I’m really hoping to see, except to be pleasantly surprised!
