this is awesome! is it too soon to ask about any future plans for RCG2 beyond this, or any sequels / spinoffs? also how do yall feel about 3D?
I just want to say thank you for everything you guys do. From the Shantae games to River City Girls and everything in-between you’ve guys have made life better with each game. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
That being said, getting Arin and Danny (Danny and Arnold…love those guys) from Game Grumps was definitely the biggest surprise!
Were other recognizable duos in mind for Billy/Jimmy or were they the first pick?
Dare I ask if you plan to add Guilty Gear and/or BlazBlue characters at one point :p ?

Any chance for a physical double pack of 1&2 for the US region? Kinda glad I have procrastinated on getting the Japanese version (i always have credit on my eShop so getting DLC out of region feels like a hassle)
What challenges did you face adding the Double Dragons to River City Girls 2? And if a follow up is possible, what was the most rewarding thing for everyone involved adding the Double Dragons to the game?
Is the DLC region free? I got the japanese edition because I wanted a physical copy with both games

Just finished my first ever playthrough of the River City Girls series this month! I absolutely love the huge amount of work and effort placed into these games, thank you so much for the experiences!
I’m also so happy to see Danny and Arin returning as the voices of the Double Dragon brothers! I hope we get to hear more of them in the DLC?!

Why no Shantae DLC?
Have been interested in getting these games for a while, they look really polished! (Like pretty much everything you guys make WayForward hahaha) My question is what gave you guys the idea to make another Kunio – Kun game but not about Kunio – Kun hahaha

I love these games, been following for a long time. I know you said it would be really hard for you guys to add in extra costumes for the girls, and I’m sure someone already asked about more characters/cameos in RCG, but what about our girls showing up in other games? ~<3
Why did you sabotage the Switch release?
Actually that’s a pretty good blanket question for everything you folks put out these days.
Now I know you cant say anything specific but there’s so much buzz around the eventual Switch successor being announced soon that i’m itching to ask: would you guys be willing to update the River City games for that hardware in the future if possible? I would love 60fps River City Girls on my Nintendo just sayiiiiiin…..love the games you make, cheers!
I have to say as a fan of the genre, I absolutely love this renaissance we’re getting of amazing beat em ups. Thank you for being a major part of that with games like this and DD Neon. Guess I should ask a question just in case you all reply, so any thoughts on a Way forward character DLC in the future? Shantae in a brawler would be awesome.
Say there was a hypothetical future console coming up for a certain 7 year old system. And hypothetically say it has backwards compatibility. Would we see a performance boost in the game thanks to new hardware on that supposed future handheld console?
