Hey, I've been puttering around with the Gameboy version of the Team Rocket edition of Pokemon. Apparently, that was the wrong choice – because every guide I can find online is of the GBA version. I'm a bit stuck though, and so I figured I would ask where all the Pokeholics live for some help. So I beat Sandy, went through a variety of caves and an insane amount of Pokebattles. Went south of the area with the Pokemon cemetery and get stuck by a Snorlax. I went all the way back to Giovanni, he just told me to get my butt back out there. I went through the maze of ghost-holes without the scope (can't figure out where to find one) and KOed all the Psychics – only to be stopped by a supreme ghost at the end of the tunnel. Can't fight what you can't see.
I tried to figure it out by reading a "Red" guide – but it keeps telling me to go to a city I can't seem to find. I am kinda at a loss. I think I talked with every NPC I've seen. I've got a slew of TMs if that'll help. I haven't used any, because I can't figure out what PKMN I wanna have for keepsies. I actually wanted to play this without any guidance but I am so madly lost right now. Any help? Let me know. Thanks!

I ended up looking it up on Youtube and found one person who had played through the game ~11 years ago. They showed there was a route that I absolutely DID not see to the left of this town I've been stuck in.
