Niantic has confirmed that the shiny Galarian Birds will not run! Of course they get this information out after I make my video… why don't they release this information all at once… weirdos

Who named this event? There aren't even any wild spawns from Galar. The only forms of Galarian Pokemon are rare finds off of 15 minute Daily Incense. This is an "event" to skip entirely

Of the galarian birds I have 4 articuno, 2 Zapdos, and 2 moltres
Galatians birds, Zacian, and Zamazenta will be shiny in PoGo before they are available in the main series without events. Looks like the main series is starting to be overshadowed by the spinoff game.

This will be the first time EVER these will be shiny (Zacian/zamazenta & the birds) in ANY Pokemon game. Since those were shiny locked in sword/shield
@poke_ak i agree with you about making them hard to catch. Pokemon go would be more if everyone did have the same people so easily. Collecting is more fun when there are rare things to collect … also not saying use a pay wall to make them rare lol
It says you have to be 'very lucky' to get a shiny so probably 1/500 shiny chance 😪

I'm not gunna lie, the birds being the original colours actually disappoints me lol. I love the galarian articuno and moltres colours, now that they look like regular birds I'm honestly not that interested in their shinies. Just my own personal preference though
I bet they poof out of existence when the incense time expires while you're scrambling to get more Pokeballs after you've thrown your inventory at them.

8 dollars for a master ball? Inflation at its finest at Niantic Corp. those shinies will be mega complicated to catch, if one ever appears

When does the event begin? Straight up caught 2 articuno's with ultra balls and golden raz, had to catch a zapdos with a master, but moltres zero luck but still have 1 master left im ready. I want the zapdos shiny personally

finally, i had 8 total encounters with all the galarian birds, used a golden berry and ultra ball, and everytime they ran away the first throw
