    I wasn’t a big fan of this game TBH, the echoes were cool but there were far too many and getting them to attack could be a hassle at times, my most fun was using swordfighter form and that is very limited.

    I loved this game. Most fun I had with a Zelda game since BOTW. The Echoes were fun even if a bit cumbersome to navigate. Loved the return of traditional dungeons. Loved the cute character designs/art style. The amazing Zelda lore callbacks/Easter eggs that were jam packed within the game. Also I love the fact the game was 15 hours long. Not every game needs to be 100 hours plus to be enjoyable. Loved the more contained story/gameplay. Felt like the game respected my time.

    Great interview! Most Nintendo interviews are fluff, but this is a BBC interview and legit.

    They legit ask the devs about frame rate? Wow.

    And the menu system in Echoes of Wisdom. Kinda harsh, if I’m being honest. What’s the “alternative notebook method?”

    2D Zelda’s will continue confirmed.

    Great short piece!

    I know people would love remakes of the Oracle games, but… anyone here who would love a **new game featuring** **the Oracles**?

    * **Link AND Zelda playable**, adding co-op gameplay
    * **Set in Hyrule**; all assets are there, and they could simply expand it and even add more civilizations, like the Ritos, Minishes, Mogmas and even Sheikas
    * **9 or 12 dungeons**, 3 or 4 per Goddess
    * **Story resolves around obtaining the Goddesses’ blessing to stop Ganon**, who somehow corrupted the Triforce
    * **All 3 Goddesses appear in person**, as per the Oracle games
    * **You get key items for Link and signature spells for Zelda**… and each dungeon use both to progress and defeat the bosses.
    * **Combo moves**, as bonuses

    Basically, give the franchise the Castlevania Portrait of Ruin treatment, that could be fun 🙂

    I am sad I am almost done with this game. Beat the story and went back in to 100% it. I need 4 more Echoes, need about 17 more might crystals to get the final 25 unlock, 3 more stamps, and 4 more hearts.

    > Sano confirmed that Echoes of Wisdom uses a variable frame rate, and that the developers felt this was the “best option” available.

    The developers felt an unstable framerate was the best option available? Excuse me? There isn’t a single scenario in the world where a variable, unstable framerate is the best option available. I have absolutely no words.

    I loved this game a lot but hated the quick select for echoes. I had to go to the actual list in the main menu and just select what i need from there.

    I felt it was easier and does make you consider trying other echoes than what you normally use. I wish they made an option to do favorites tho and changed the way to access it.

    I just picked this up, only 2 dungeons in. While I enjoyed TotK and BotW, I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun with a Zelda title. I really missed the feel and nostalgia from the GBC era games.
