I think it’s wonderful that you get a full game by paying once instead of the damn microtransactions… but 20 bucks for a cell app may be a little too much for the phone public.
Nintendad47
I wonder if it will convert any leaf tickets into bells or other currency in the new game?

I’m worried about them saying the save data is stored on the phone, so if you delete the app it’s just gone.
So if you upgrade/break your phone…that’s it?

Sounds pretty good, especially compared to the alternative of everything just getting deleted. Wish they had done something like this for Dragalia Lost or Dr Mario World

This is really really good.
Every online game should learn from this. Don’t erase everything.
Just because you’re done making money doesn’t mean we’re ok with losing something we might really enjoy.
I hope they do the same with Fire Emblem Heroes, and any other online game. This is a huge win for players.
MustMention
Just like when I hear it mentioned with the *Disgaea* series, “Complete” is swiftly becoming one of my fave words!
Hearing about **Complete Tickets** to “exchange them for limited edition items that you missed out on or fortune cookies of your choice” is everything I wanted to hear: legit can’t wait. There’s photos and staging I’ve always wanted to do and suddenly maybe I *could*. I’ve run out of Leaf Tickets before but I’ll never run out of grind!

Only played Pocket Camp for a short time because I am just not a fan of mobile games, but it’s neat to see Nintendo taking care of their mobile gamers, when other games just pull the plug sometimes out of the blue.
No_Shower_1068
I never really understood this game
VelytDThoorgaan
i wish they did this for dragalia lost T_T

I had to keep myself from playing Pocket Camp due to my OCD and how the style of limited time items is terrible for my mental health (and wallet). I’d been waiting for Nintendo to end support for PC for the last few years after I realized I couldn’t play it the way it was structured currently.
I’d been praying that this new app would cycle through old events and be less fast paced, and my dreams truly came through. Thank you thank you THANK YOU Nintendo!! I can finally play this game again!

I’ve been playing the series since Wild World, but I never touched Pocket Camp. I don’t like the FTP/micro transactions influence on games. What seems to be the consensus on this game?

Damn. I’m excited to get back into this game now that I can have a full experience without tons of micro transactions

I just Need a Single payment and offline summoners war now
Dramatic_Mastodon_93
They actually made a better game out of it lol
(If anyone has any idea how I can buy this game on the App Store when it’s not available in my country / how I can buy an App Store gift card from the US, please tell me)

I think this is the most effort to preserve media by Nintendo I have ever seen in my life.
Genuinely remarkable!

This is awesome. Online live service games don’t need to be erased from existence when the developers can’t support it any longer. It’s terrible for preservation and giving new audiences a way to experience the game. But this decision does preserve it and gives new players that chance.
I just hope the same will be true for games like Pokémon GO, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Mario Kart Tour.
DSMidna
If this ever happens to Mario Kart Tour, I might even give that game a shot.
Flagelant_One
I wonder if it will still have the problem of “4 seconds loading screen every 5 seconds of gameplay” or if removing the online component will speed that up.
Kbrito9
I like this very much, but having to pay for the new app is weird.
SpaceShoey
Soo… I basically played the game the entire time only to interact with other players. I loved sending them gifts, emojis and sharing individual creative pictures with them. I also loved to take care of my market (I sold rare items every single weekend for the last two years, even made special events during holidays, and everyone enjoyed it).
And now… we get gift cards. I mean, they made so much money with this game, couldn’t they at least change the islands? They basically only added one new island where you can watch other players act like NPCs like it’s already the case right now. And on top of that, they are so “gracious” that they now want to charge me an extra 10-15 bucks for this “Complete” edition?
I’m sorry, but for me, this is a “complete” rip off. Totally killed the social part in this game. Very disappointed.
Vanguard-Raven
It makes me wonder how they will eventually deal with Fire Emblem Heroes end of service. I hope they don’t outright kill it like they did with Dragalia Lost.
titaniumweasel01
I loaded up my old pocket camp file, and as someone who installed the game years ago, played the tutorial, and never touched it again, the app was completely inscrutable and overwhelming. I think I’m just going to have to pass on the save data transfer bonuses and start a new save.

It was a good time o7
Now were alone again.

Anyone know if the HH ranks and medals will still be in the complete version? Also, if they would still include the feature to record steps in the health app? I know that was a paid feature but it would be really cool if they transferred that to the complete one
