Nintendo Switch

Best retro fighting games, Street Fighter-ish for the Nintendo Switch?

There are many sales right now and I want to ask whats in your opinion the best game. I would prefer a classic/old version or collection of older games, both physical or e-shop are fine. 1vs1 is a must, 4 players or online is optional. I don't want a new and only retro looking one.

What do you guys recommend?

I found:

  • Breakers Collection ~10 bucks, but only 2 games (that are basically almost identical), retro, more unknown brand
  • Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection ~10bucks, 12 games (no clue how different they are, servers are apparently dead )
  • Capcom Fighting Collection ~16 bucks, 10 games (part 2 releases in 2025)
  • MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics ~40 bucks, 7 games
  • Samurai Shodown Collection ~24 bucks, 5 games
  • The King of Fighters NeoGeo Collection , 11games was unable to find it apparently doesn't exist?* Very strange

it doesn't esist, so there is no such bundle (yet)*
but there is a NEOGEO Selection Vol 1with Fatal Fury 2 , Samurai Shodown and KOF 95 and Vol2 with Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Samurai Shodown V and The King of Fighters ’94

  • Garou: Mark of the wolves, ~5 bucks (if you enjoy it then try -> Fatal Fury)
  • Killer Instinct ~free with nintendo online subscription

pls. correct me if any of these statements are wrong:
the Capcom Fighting Collection is better than the Street Figher 30th one.
KOF 98 and 2002 are the most played old school KOF games
a collection is better than just single games
Capcom Arcade Stadium has some free games + DLCs that include fighter games
capcom fighting collection and sf 30th together for 20 bucks in a bundle

Whats the lets say best 2 out of these or any game that I might have missed? Thanks : )

At the current time the best options in my opinion are:
capcom fighting collection and sf 30th together for 20 bucks in a bundle (digital) + a nice physical copy of a game, I haven't decided yet because I enjoy those!
