As far as the shrooms, I'm probably too old to talk about but those were the days 😉. Being so rural, they're not something I'd invest in.

Yes, blastoise is recommended. If your group is small you'll need a tank and blastoise is an amazing one.
First, I love your videos. But Dynamax and Gigantimax SUCKS! It is a total rip off scam. Disabled people like myself cannot get out to do this. Niantic SUCKS!!
I already do 2X damage,,,,, I keep getting into giagantamax raids with the base wooloo guys that don't believe in upgrading unless it is a 98 or better. I don't understand why these guys don't use some particles to upgrade a move.
Odds seem 1/10, i managed about 20 raids and got 2 shinies
Gigantamax toxtricity has a higher base attack (224) and no weaknesses. Gigantamax venusaur is 198.
First limit the particles earned so people spend money. Next make the raids cost almost the limit you can have but allow you to buy past the limit to spend money. Next add a cap to how many particles earned a day to make people spend money. Next allow you to use a power up that makes you do more damage by spending money. XP is only useful until you hit lv31 so you can earn XL candies and stardust. Max Mushrooms in the main series allowed you to give a Pokémon its GMax form who didn’t have it or remove it if you didn’t want it. Now it’s some BS damage booster. Dynamax raids are terrible in PoGo and a huge scam to dump money and recourses into. No thank you Lapris 100K xp isn’t worth $1.50 minimum per lapris, and that’s not including star pieces, lucky eggs, max mushrooms, and whatever resources you wanna dump into this crap. No thanks I can see the scam from a mile away.

working weekends sucks. i miss all this events.
Caught a hundo and a shiny in Sydney. These gigantamax events are a little frustrating, it have a 4.5 to 5 hour round trip on the train to get to my nearest city to partake in the event.
just a small correction: gigantamaxes don't have more than one attack move like dynamaxes can have. So changing your fast move does not have any effect to those. Toxtricity Gigantamax has only access to Stun Shock but only Dynamax Toxtricity can have poison move as attack, for an example.
I regularly stop playing for six months and then come back to see what has changed. I came back when I heard about the Gigamax. Now I’m ready to quit again.😂 the game is ok, but it could be way better if it wasn’t run by Niantic. In the end, I always end up thinking there is someone out there at Niantic that just wants to frustrate the players to ruin the fun. I don’t mind paying for a good game, but I don’t want to pay people that laugh at me. See you in 6 months Poke ❤

In addition to my first post. After 3 months is the game worth the time and money (I spent 200$) : absolutely not, it’s a total robbery. That’s another reason I quit.
i think niantic should make it so that you can invite players from around the world for these battles. And also no remote raid passes required. only a little bit extra MP reqiured to battle than if you were in person
a good overlooked strategy, fight earlier in the day when there is a insignificant mon…say like Wooloo and you leave behind a Chamander…to boost the damage of the group for the day for that spot. If you get enough people to leave behind, that's a 20% damage boost (15+ helpers, 4 icons). Even just 1 helper is a 10% damage (15% for 2 to 3 helpers which is 2 icons, 18.8% for 4-14 helpers which is 3 icons).

Too bad i dont have anyone to do these raids with. Would love to do them but Niantic doesn't care about rural players. Least let us remote or something. Completely alienates trainers.
