Morgan is just…Evelyn on steroids. Not only you have to debuff her constantly, but you have to also prevents her or her team from debuffing your own team, making this battle almost restrictive to those with debuff immunities like Impervious or Downside Up.
Well, with Impervious and Piercing Blows, Alt Leon counters this stage, but he’s too easy, so I opted for an alternative Impervious on-type attacker in NC Nate. While Arc Steven is a more suitable support as Nate is physical, I went for NC Blue instead, because one, his AOE offensive debuffs are helpful to quickly knock out that Guard Spec user, and two, his paralysis goes well with Ball Guy, our 3rd member. What is Ball Guy doing here? You may ask. Well, he has impervious!, and he actually enables NC Nate. As opposed to Alt Leon who can attack whenever thanks to Piercing Blows, NC Nate’s damage is significant reduced when the target’s spdef and def are raise. Hence why Ball Guy is there to just clear smog them before NC Nate hits. What I really like about the team is that while I don’t actually have a spdef debuffer, both NC Blue and Ball Guy have innate Vigil so I can actually run Mind Games 2 on both of them, temporarily patching this hole.
