Funny story. The guy complain that Youtube are exageratting and said it’s their fault but he mentionned that the fake lawyer may have been in his discord community. So in the end, it’s his own fault and mostly his bad moderator that caused him all this stuff.

I mean there’s someone who can and that’s Nintendo. Can’t they sue him for being a fake Nintendo lawyer

Even Nintendo doesnt take down videos of you just playing their games unless youre using a ROM.

Imagining larping as a lawyer for a corporation in this day and age?
It’s like the kid at school who insists on being the referee during an informal soccer game at recess.

YouTube and Google can fix a system it’s just not something that generates revenue and they’ve also likely just given up because the system they did build is easy to abuse which only causes more issues, so why try?
You can’t tell me there are people inside Google who don’t have actual valid solutions to these types of issues.
Now would they be given the resources to fix this?
Not unless there was some crazy out of left field huge fines or some other random catastrophic event toward the platform.
Yes, every day there are millions of videos uploaded. You can’t even expect to police them all. However any issues also fall on deaf ears. And the review process is also a joke and has been proven again and again.
Even large channels have had to beg on twitter for help when shit goes sideways and they are targeted. Why even have a review process if all it does is reject claims instantly? That’s not to mention just how many small channels were also probably likely targeted by some form of harassment and just folded into the ether because they have zero recourse.
Google as a whole just has a fuck it no one can stop us anyway and it’s not like they can go anywhere else attitude.

Google can stop anyone that abuses their system.
They simply don’t want to because their system encourages that they don’t.

*Of course* YouTube can stop him. Google just doesn’t care to. Because proper enforcement costs money.

We need a SLAAP for copyright strikes.
