For some reason on the switch itself the display doesn't work however I can still here audio if I tap on the screen, is there a way to fix this without taking the console apart? (I've had this exact switch since 2017 and this is the first time this has occurred)

Have you restarted the console?
What happens when it’s on the dock?
Maybe the screen’s cable is loose or dirty.
