My pet theory is that we’re going to get a full blown remake of Ocarina of Time on Switch 2. Bigger in scope than the Link’s Awakening remake, but not quite the size of BoTW or the next mainline Zelda entry.

OoT and Majora’s Mask NEED remakes on the Switch 2.
I also really hope they add the scrapped Wind Temple and Ice Temple to OoT as optional bonus content.
Or, even crazier… a full remake of OoT on a BotW sized map. Keep the main game in its original structure- able to be played exactly as the original was- but surround that OG game with a shitload of new shit.
Like how there’s a random pyramid in the background of the Gerudo Desert, imagine actually being able to visit that location for a new optional dungeon.
Or if there was a door that appears after defeating the White Wolfos in the Ice Cavern, and going through that door leads to a whole new map of icy, snowy mountains that then leads to the scrapped Ice Temple- thus giving Snowhead a proper parallel from OoT to MM…
The possibilities of greatness are there, Nintendo just has to find the courage to take those steps.
