I have left the battles to my children…
I finally as of just now have gotten my Platinum Master League Medal! I’m so glad! Now I never have to touch that vile cesspool again.
I’m only on about 550 and 400 wins for the Great and Ultra League respectively. So I’ve got that BS to still get through.

I freaking hate master league with a passion it's totally play to win seeing lv 50 legendary pokemon in the 1600 points range is bullshit

i only play pvp for the rare candy xl And elite fast and charged tms
I think they should make another pvp mode. this one just does not interrest me i havent played pvp in 1.5 years even though im very competitive
Have no time to play GO Battle League, takes forever to play and sooo buggy. Plus I don't have the enthusiasm to have multiple rosters of crippled Pokemon to play all the different Leagues, if I have to lookup external websites to work out what are the best IV's to play, I consider this part of the game lacking.
I pretty much have PoGO uninstalled at this point. It's pretty much dead in my city in terms of players, so raids are hard to complete from 4 stars up (and from 3 stars up in the case of Dinamax raids), and with the GO Battle being busted I just didn't have much to do in the game, so I lost interest pretty quickly and dropped
I never found the arthritis speed run mechanic of GBL fun.
My thoughts on gbl: get rid of the charge system and switch to a count down timer for strong moves, that increases the time between attacks after each use (to stop spamming), blind auto lock in picks after reaching rank 20.
Yeah I’m the same way. I used to play almost all sets. Now it’s maybe one set a day. Currently at 2470 elo and don’t want to play because I know the algo is going to hit me hard before Veteran. I hit legend a couple seasons back but the motivation for the grind is not there anymore. I usually just hit Veteran and stop unless the expert outfit is cool.
I work overnights so battling for me sometimes is okay I guess I can go 3/5 or 1/5 it's really tilting to be honest. When I use "top meta teams" just to get countered or the game freezes and I have to either shield or just surrender

I started playing Pokémon poket tcg and find it less frustrating and grindy. I don’t feel like I have to constantly play it for scraps as a free to play player. I been login on pogo just to get my free xl candy when for my 98% kyogre.
The shadow Ho-oh event was abysmal. Tons of issues with the app crashing (and thus losing your raid pass and being unable to join the raid group you were in) and Ho-oh wasn’t able to get Sacred Fire by charged TM as advertised.
Used to be a GBL fan but now that my first account reached lvl50 without any GBL requirements…

I've always hated pvp in any game. I only do the battle league when there is a pokemon locked behind it. It's 'gotta catch em all' not 'gotta battle em all'
I spent a million dust powering up 2 seasons ago and things got nerfed. I didnt see a return on my investment so i quit. To much of a grind.
I just uninstalled this garbage game two month ago! feels good!
Haven't played a single battle since the new season started. They need to add new mechanics or something for me to be interested

I've not played a single set in GBL this season tbh. Might tank during the GBL stardust event just to get to lv 20 for the elite tms, but have quit trying to reach Ace or above. It's not worth the frustration of trying to rank up with all the GBL bugs.
Gotta love when you spend time to write a comment, only for the internet to hiccup at just the right moment so it doesn't go through. Take two: I love the background images (Meowscarada with the palm fronds). Did you create those? I'm not great at PvP, but I used to at least get to rank 20 each season. So far I'm only rank 4 if that tells you how motivated I've been. I would be more motivated if I were better, and better if I were more motivated. I respect those trainers who persevere even in these conditions, and I particularly like to watch live matches like Regionals. I'm sure I would get back into it (at least enough to hit Rank 20 again) if things would become more consistent and fair.
